Group 2: Toyota Hilux Double Cab 2.5:

The Toyota Double Cab (four-wheel-drive, 4x4) ist the ideal vehicle for self-drivers. With its four-wheel-drive this vehicle is suitable for all the streets in southern Africa, even for more challenging terrain. The space is designed for 4 to maximum 5 people. Bigger tyres and more clearance height than normal passenger cars makes this vehicle comfortable in the open country and gives a better vantage point for animal viewing. The vehicle is fitted with power steering, air-conditioning, CD/radio, 5-gear shift and a 130 litre double tank with a calculated range of approx. 1000km.

Insurance options:

Contribution without glass and tyre insurance:

For normal excess and excess reduction the lessee/driver is liable for up to the full excess amount for all the occurred damage to the vehicle, including the damage incurred by others (third party).

Contribution with glass and tyre insurance:

Next to the reduction of the excess, the insurance includes the glass and tyre insurance, as well as damage by a third party. The lessee/driver is only liable for self-inflicted damage for up to the full excess amount.

From 2012 on this insurance can only be taken if rental is longer than 6 or more days.

Any insurance ceases for damages obtained due to negligence and the lessee/driver will be liable for the full amount.
